Self Help Tool Chest

Drs. Michael and Terri Morris

Self-Help Tool Chest is a treasure trove of wisdoms, inspirations and resources that we have gathered through decades of experience helping people as psychologists and professors.

With degrees from Stanford University and USC, together, we have taught psychology at the university level for over 35 years. Our students gained their therapeutic experience by attending to the most underserved populations on the cold, hard streets of Los Angeles.

Our job was to guide, inspire and supervise… to help our students help others. Self-Help Tool Chest developed out of a desire to offer that help to the world at large.

We have included quotations on a wide range of relevant topics along with books, movies and websites to initiate and promote self-growth.

We hope to reach people who are unable to seek therapy on a regular basis as well as budding therapists who want enrichment as they establish their careers.

Our website provides encouragement for people with little time and more in-depth offerings for those who are able to browse. We are lifetime learners who welcome your feedback as Self-Help Tool Chest evolves. In the meantime, we hope you find ample takeaways on our website to help you on your journey.
